Finished the balltop. Came out a lot better than I expected it too. Really smooth, couple imperfections but I can smooth em out. Overall, I'm happy with it & I expect to be making a lot more in the near future.

Custom Balltop
Working on something new. Custom Captain America balltop for the new arcade stick I'm building. Hopefully I can get this to turn out the way I want, so far it's lookin good. Just have to let it dry for about 24 hours, then I may sand it a little to try to get a smooth feel if it doesn't have it already.
Also need a picture for the stick. I'm thinking of 2 different ones right now. I'd have to mirror the 2nd one...

The 1st one
My first arcade stick that I made was so I could play Street Fighter IV on the 360. I've always been a fan of the Joker, so I knew that's what I wanted on it & it had to be purple. The picture I immediately chose was from the Killing Joke.
I then went online & found a purple joystick...
& the buttons to match...
My dad helped me build everything since I had no woodworking skills at the time.
It took me a while to get the wiring right & it is really sloppy but it was the 1st time I had done this.
I was excited when I had finished it & every button did what it was supposed to. This was about 3 years ago & it still works like a charm!
